Routine Development

A lot of people rely on fitness instructors, books or magazines to develop a workout routine. But with a little time and knowledge, you can develop a routine specific to your needs and fitness goals.

Developing an exercise routine can be broken down into three parts:

1. Deciding how many days a week you are going to devote to your routine.

2. Deciding what muscle groups you're going to work on what days.

3. Deciding the specific exercises along with the number of sets and reps.

Coming up with a routine is fairly simple; it's sticking with it that can be tough.
